The Acoustic Duo was the perfect choice for our destination wedding in Florence.
We had been suggested multiple bands and individuals by our wedding planner, having listened to them all I had become quite disheartened with the options I was fast to discard them all - they were just not what we were looking for. Instead I spent many hours over many days scouting the internet for the perfect choice – and I am so glad that I did!
Along my dedicated internet travels I came across the duo Deborah and Fabrizio.
Having listened to their multiple demos I knew straight away that they were the perfect fit for our big day. They completely outshone the dated alternatives that I had found. Their playlist was vast and varied with the addition of it being sang in a romantic way to the beautiful backdrop of the oh-so the talented guitarist – a happy factor for myself and now husband whose tastes in music differ somewhat!
Their multilingual abilities meant that not only could we have the songs that we have so much enjoyed together for the past years, but we could have some beautiful Italian tunes to remind us of the fabulous country that we had chosen to celebrate in.
I was overjoyed Deborah replied that they were free and would travel to Florence for the wedding.
One of the major issues I had with organising a wedding from abroad was the response time (and quality of the response received); this however was no issue for the Duo. Deborah was there to calm my worries, she offered suggestions and she responded thoroughly and valuably to all of my many many many questions.
Leading into the day I have to say I was 100% confident that they were the right choice.
The atmosphere that Deborah and Fabrizio added to our special day was immense. We were privileged to have them share their talents with us (and our 100+ strong audience who had flown in from multiple locations around the world). I had asked Deborah many weeks prior whether they had heard of a song that we had in mind for walking down the isle – alas they had not... Instead of this being the compromise I had imagined Deborah reassured me it was okay – they would learn it. It was amazing to walk down the aisle knowing that it was exactly what we had wanted (and more).
From the aisle performances all the way through cocktails they were fabulous – even when there was a close bush fire (and at one point helicopters dropping water in a nearby area) the duo were calm, collected, and professional throughout. Our guests were filled with only positive comments and everyone old and young enjoyed the fairy tale atmosphere that they helped to build.
Anyway – If you thought the above was a lot of writing for a review you should see the amount of questions I sent to Deborah! Safe to say that I would strongly recommend Deborah and Fabrizio – they really were a pleasure.

What an exquisite voice Deborah has, and well accompanied by Fabrizio on the guitar.

In preparation for our wedding in Rome I found searching online for the perfect wedding music for an intimate wedding to be a daunting task! So much so that we actually thought about not having live music at our reception, however once we found Deborah and Fabrizio's audios online we became really excited about the type of magical atmosphere their music creates and decided to book. From the very beginning Deborah was hugely helpful in terms of explaining the conditions to music at wedding receptions in Rome etc.. She is definitely a perfectionist and took extra steps to ensure that everything went to plan for our big day, even visiting our venue and keeping in contact with our hotel events manager.
A true professional she handled any query quickly and the response was always positive, which made planning the wedding from Ireland much easier.
On the day the music was superb, so much so we asked them to play longer!! During the canapes the soft melodies and Deborah's amazing voice created the perfect ambiance for our special day. All of our guests still talk about our choice of music being the perfect fit for us and our guests. Throughout dinner upbeat songs created a fun and easygoing atmosphere with singalongs in places!! I am so glad we booked Deborah and Fabrizio for our big day and their music really did add a special quality to it which I will always remember. We only have great things to say about this band and would highly recommend them for your own special day!!

What can we say to describe Deborah and Fabrizio: two kindred spirits, one guitar and a voice that gives you goose bumps! Fabrizio's style of playing is very gentle and intimate, and Deborah sings divinely, her voice is pure and melodious and she has an amazing vocal extension.
I chose them for my wedding after listening to their original single JAMAL, a track that I had never heard before, but whose power and musicality instantly captivated me. I remember thinking “Yes! They're exactly what I'm looking for!” I sent them an email straight away, hoping they would be available on my wedding day. They replied promptly, demonstrating their professionality and courtesy from the start.
I'm still grateful to them.. they were able to create an easy going yet engaging ambience. They were of fundamental importance to me, my husband and our guests: flawless performance and so much heart!

Meeting Deborah and Fabrizio was very special.
They are true professionals, always available, patient and deferential to the couple's needs and timing.
During the preparation of our wedding, we subjected them to a lot of stress, but they were always kind and never lost their smile: they fulfilled all our requests!
We live abroad and it's never easy to organize things from a distance, but they were constantly there for us: always answering our emails promptly, keeping in direct contact with us via text messages and telephone/Skype.
